Raycast's iPhone app arrived in April 2025, bringing notes and reusable text alongside Quicklinks and AI tools. The practical appeal is access to material you already keep in Raycast on the Mac, with search close to the home screen.

Pull down to search, open a note, or pin a frequently used item to Favorites. A Quicklink can hold the destination you repeatedly need; a Snippet can hold a reply or template you would otherwise type again. Notes let you add to a thought while you're out and return to it on the computer. The launch guide specifies that Cloud Sync must be enabled in the Mac settings for that handoff.

The boundary matters. 9to5Mac explains that the iOS edition cannot replace Spotlight as the Mac version can. I see its strongest case as a companion to an existing library of notes and snippets. If those already contain information you reuse, the phone gains something specific to search instead of another empty workspace to maintain.

The optional keyboard is a separate consideration: recent US App Store reviewers report mixed experiences, including haptic and stability complaints. I'd start iPhoners who already use Raycast with search and saved content, then test the keyboard in their own typing routine.
