A cable is usually the least interesting object on a desk, until a new dock needs one with the right rating. Satechi's Thunderbolt 5 Pro Cable is a one-meter braided USB-C lead with aluminum connector housings. Its restrained black finish makes it look at home beside the company's CubeDock or a dark MacBook setup.
Satechi lists Thunderbolt certification, up to 80 Gb/s bidirectional data bandwidth and up to 120 Gb/s when extra bandwidth is assigned to display traffic. Power Delivery 3.1 EPR support reaches 240W. Those are cable capabilities, not a promise that every attached Mac or drive will reach those figures. The host ports, dock and device determine the speed you actually see.

The one-meter length is the practical constraint. It is generous for a MacBook next to a dock, but it may be short if the Mac mini lives under a table or the display is mounted away from the computer. Measure that path before buying; a certified cable with the right bandwidth is still the wrong cable if it has to be pulled tight.

| Compatibility | Thunderbolt 5, older Thunderbolt and USB4 ports |
Satechi specifies up to 6K display support on macOS, while its broader headline mentions higher Windows display combinations. Keeping those two claims separate avoids treating a cable's transport rating as a Mac display guarantee. A real monitor setup still depends on the computer and dock.
The connector markings are subtle but visible enough to keep this lead separate from an ordinary charging cable. Satechi already includes a certified Thunderbolt 5 cable with its CubeDock. This extra meter makes more sense for a second Thunderbolt 5 device or a separate desk setup.
