Apple's iPhone Duo Folio with Kickstand is the case for people who want the outer screen covered between uses. It adds a TechWoven front flap to the back panel, then uses the flap and its integrated kickstand to hold the unfolded Duo at a viewing angle. The phone can sit on a table without a separate stand.
The stand folds flat when you are done. Apple's product photos show it holding the phone in landscape and working with the inner display open, which is where a wide folding screen makes the most sense for reading or video calls. The front cover is a practical answer to pocket scratches, though it adds one more motion before a quick glance at a notification.

Magnets align the folio with the Duo and allow MagSafe or Qi2 25W charging with the cover attached. Apple says a charger can attach outside the cover or behind the open kickstand.
- Material: TechWoven fabric
- Stand: integrated, folds flat
- Charging: MagSafe and Qi2 25W through the cover
The second position matters when the phone is propped up: the stand doesn't have to be folded away just to reach the charging point.
TechWoven is a fabric finish, not leather. It makes the front flap the visible surface when the phone is closed and gives the cover a different feel from Apple's hard polycarbonate Case. The flap is also the extra step before using the outside display.
Choose the Folio if the Duo regularly sits open for reading or calls and the covered outer display matters. Apple's plain Case leaves that display immediately accessible and has no built-in stand.
