Your oxygen gauge makes even a harmless-looking cave a decision. Subnautica is an underwater survival game for iPhone and iPad that sends you out from a crash-landed escape pod to gather materials, craft equipment, and investigate an alien ocean. The Seaglide lets you cover more ground, but reaching a place and getting back safely are separate problems.
Start close to the pod. Its fabricator turns scavenged resources into equipment, while scanning wreckage adds blueprints for later expeditions. A virtual stick handles movement; separate arrows take you up and down, and dragging on the right changes your view. Unknown Worlds confirms MFi controller support, so iPhoners with a gamepad can use it for movement and tools. Building an underwater base then changes where an expedition can begin.

I'd consider this port for the exploration. Pocket Gamer praised the freedom to choose a route, but repeatedly hit frozen autosaves during its review. US App Store reviews still describe stalled saving and lost progress. It's a substantial drawback in a game where each trip brings materials back to a growing base.
Playdigious documents cloud saves between mobile devices, but says PC and console saves can't transfer. Returning players should expect a fresh expedition.
Players who want a marked route to the next objective should look elsewhere.
