A second survivor can gather firewood while you look for food, but now the camp has another mouth to feed. Don't Starve Together is a cooperative survival game set in the Constant, a hostile world where the next night or season can undo a comfortable routine. Its iPhone version arrived in July 2026.

Choose a character, join or create a world, and start collecting materials for tools and shelter. A science machine opens up more crafting options; a farm can help feed the group while someone else explores. Those jobs keep changing as the seasons turn. Pocket Gamer's mobile review liked the crafting interface, particularly being able to make a required component from within the recipe for the final item.

The controls deserve attention. Hardcore Droid found that selecting objects became awkward when several were close together. US App Store reviews dated October 24 and 31 also describe trouble with camera rotation, after the October 22 update. The listing confirms MFi controller support, which gives you another input option. I'd check movement and object selection before committing a group to a long-running world.

The shared camp is why I'd recommend it to iPhoners who like dividing tasks with friends. Someone still has to remember the firewood.
