The Health app redesign that ran through the iOS 27.2 betas won't be in the final release: Apple pulled it in iOS 27.2 beta 4, and the old app now promises the new one in a later update. What does ship, the iReviews channel expects, is a release candidate on October 19 and the public update on October 26.
The headline addition is language support. Apple said Siri AI, which launched in US English only, would add French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish in October, and 27.2 is the release that carries them.
The prep list in the video is short. Coming from iOS 26, get to 26.6 or later first: the channel says the background optimizing iOS 27 runs for the new Siri already happens there, so the jump to 27.2 starts with that work done. Then clear about 16 GB. Settings, General, iPhone Storage ranks the biggest apps, and in the video TikTok alone held 1.4 GB of documents and data.
Back up to iCloud or a computer before every update, even though most go fine. Already on a 27.2 beta? Install the RC from Software Update, then switch Beta Updates off to stay on the public track.
On performance, the channel's iPhone 17 Pro Max on beta 4 posted its best Geekbench 6 scores yet, 3,895 single-core and 10,113 multi-core, with logged screen time near 10 hours on a charge. That's one phone on a beta, a useful sign rather than a promise.
Siri AI in five more languages is the reason for iPhoners still on iOS 26 to move now. Anyone who wanted 27.2 for Health should wait it out; the channel's bet for the redesign is iOS 27.3.
