Apple's own Watch charger ends in a cable; Satechi's ends in a plug. The USB-C Magnetic Charging Dock is an MFi-certified Apple Watch charger, 1.1 ounces of space gray aluminum, that plugs straight into any powered USB-C port. Reviewers have had this design in hand since early 2020, and the compatibility list is the part that keeps moving.

The current listing covers every Watch from Series 1 through 11, all three SE generations, and the Ultra line, with fast charging flagged for Series 7 and newer plus the SE 3. Output tops at 5W per Satechi's spec. Newer AirPods cases charge on it too (the Pro 3 and AirPods 4 among them), and the box holds the dock and a manual, no cable.

Cult of Mac's Ed Hardy reviewed it in 2020 and called it the best Apple Watch travel charger he'd seen; his sharpest number was a full Watch charge off an iPad Pro costing the tablet 6% of its battery. AppleInsider's Andrew O'Hara scored it 4 out of 5 the same year and ran it plugged into a MacBook Pro at a desk. Both write-ups predate the fast-charge support now on the listing. O'Hara's gripes still read current: the back is color-matched plastic that feels cheap next to the aluminum, and the dock's width can crowd the neighboring port on a MacBook Air.

iPhoners already carrying a USB-C power bank get a Watch charger with no wall plug and no cable to forget. Any powered USB-C port does.
