Matt Talks Tech counts eight Apple products still to come this year, and by the channel's own descriptions, six keep the design they have and swap the chip. The iPad mini adds OLED on an A19 Pro or A20 Pro, the base iPad moves to an A18 with 8GB of RAM, the iMac and the 14-inch MacBook Pro step to the M6 the channel says just reached the Mac mini, and the Apple TV and HomePod mini finally get chips new enough for Siri AI.
It's just going to be the chip changed out. Literally, that's it.
That line is about the MacBook Pro, and it fits most of the list. The two that change shape are the least certain. The OLED MacBook Ultra could land on M5 Pro and M5 Max or jump to M7, per the video, and Bloomberg's window in the October product roundup runs from the end of the year into early 2027. The Beats 360 headphones, with swappable ear cushions, look closest of the eight, and their Beats 360 firmware already surfaced.
Two picks look shakier than the video allows. A July MacRumors report puts the iPad mini on a 60Hz OLED panel, not the ProMotion screen the channel hopes for, and the A18 iPad has slipped before, with some reports now pointing to early 2027. The list also skips the one new category Bloomberg has in the October window, a home hub with a screen.
No event is on the calendar yet. iPhoners waiting on the Apple TV have the easiest call: the box still runs an A15 from 2022, and its replacement is built around Siri AI.
