A month after the last iPhone 18 rumor rundown, the list has barely moved. Matt Talks Tech still has the base model arriving in March or April with the iPhone 18e and the iPhone Air 2, a window the channel credits to Ming-Chi Kuo's reports, and still has the A20, a smaller Dynamic Island, and the C2 modem, with one new fight over memory.
Some leaks give the iPhone 18 12 GB of RAM and others 9 GB, one more than the iPhone 17, and the channel ties the smaller figure to the RAM shortage squeezing every phone maker. It treats 12 GB as the bar for the full Siri AI, which is stricter than iOS 27 is: Siri AI runs on the iPhone 15 Pro and newer, with only the best on-device models held for the iPhone 17 Pro and later, per the iOS 27 Siri compatibility list.
Past that, the video labels its guesses as guesses: a six-core A20 with five GPU cores and a brighter, more efficient display. No camera or battery leaks have surfaced, so its bet is the same 48MP main camera the 16e and 17e kept. The C2 is the one item it calls a given, and I'd count it as a bigger deal on the base model than on the US iPhone 18 Pro Max, which kept Qualcomm.
The memory number is the leak worth waiting for. Even at 9 GB, I don't see it costing the base model a Siri feature Apple has shipped.
