The Duo's own tricks all come from having two screens. Two apps run side by side on the inner one, including two windows of the same app, with saved pairs. The cover screen works as a viewfinder, so the person in the shot sees the frame while the 48MP rear cameras take the selfie, and half-folded, the phone stands on its own with a shutter that waits until everyone is in frame. Apple has the USB-C Apple Pencil arriving after launch, on both screens by the video's account; the Pencil Pro isn't supported.
The rest is where the list undercuts itself. By the video's own account the main camera has no variable aperture, zoom stops at a 2x crop and 10x digital, there's no ProRes or Log recording, and the under-display FaceTime camera isn't one for selfies. Touch ID in the power button replaces Face ID, and it's eSIM only in every country. The 2nm A20 Pro and ProMotion on both panels round out the list as flagship table stakes.
The battery line needs the same care: 31 hours of video on the inner screen is two behind the 17 Pro's 33 by Apple's rating, not one as the video says. Star White and Night Sky are the two colors, per the video, and iPhoners weighing it against the Pro Max should read the camera section first.
