A flexible polymer shell, hidden bumpers under the lining, and a channel scooped along each side right where your fingers land. The Venture is Bellroy's rugged iPhone case, the outdoor counterpart to its leather line, sized for the recent Pro models, with MagSafe and a 3-year warranty. And the current version patches the fit complaint that trailed the first.

Materials are TPU polymer outside, soft microfiber inside. The buttons are metal, with ridges cut into the power and Action buttons, and a stainless steel slot anchors the included adjustable wrist lanyard. A raised rim circles the camera plateau, and MagSafe and Qi wireless charging both pass through. Bellroy publishes no drop-height rating, so the protection argument rests on the hidden internal bumpers and that camera rim, not a lab number.

MobileSyrup's Brad Bennett ran the Venture on an iPhone 17 Pro Max for weeks and positions it as the brand's rugged pick, crediting the grooves along the sides for making a big phone easier to hold and the raised button for keeping a stray finger off Camera Control. The lanyard, he notes, "won't be for everyone," though it detaches.
Over on YouTube, Jabber Tech lands in the same place from the outdoor angle. The channel found the front lip beefier than Bellroy's own leather case, the camera plateau fully covered with a second lip around each lens, and the MagSafe hold strong enough to carry wallets and stands, with the side channels earning a "kung fu grip" nod. It also closes a real gap: the previous Venture failed the channel's corner-fit test, while this one leaves just a single corner sitting a hair loose.
Fog is the color Bennett flags. It runs bluer in person than expected and sits awkwardly against the orange iPhone 17 Pro; he'd pair it with the silver or blue finishes instead. iPhoners on those models get the cleaner match, and everyone else can look at Shadow, the darker colorway.

Fits anyone who spends weekends outdoors and would rather tether a phone than baby it.
