Track your recurring bills without creating another one / App of the Day 107

Subscription costs creep up in silence. A music plan here, a note-taking trial there, and before you know it half the paycheck is leaking into tiny monthly fees. SubSync puts all of those charges on one bright radar screen and does it for free, so you do not add yet another subscription just to watch your subscriptions.

Launch the app and you land on a clean Dashboard. Two big boxes show what you are burning every month and what the year will look like if you change nothing. Right underneath you will notice small status tiles - green for active plans, yellow for charges that are almost due, purple for free trials still in play. Scroll a bit more and every upcoming renewal appears in plain text, complete with price tag and billing cycle, so tomorrow’s surprise debit is never a surprise.

Swipe to the Calendar tab and each renewal day gets a neat blue dot. Tap any date and a miniature receipt slides up, telling you which service will ping which card and for how much. It is a simple detail, yet it makes planning a holiday purchase or a laptop upgrade far less nerve-racking because you know exactly when the auto-pays will kick in.

Craving deeper numbers? The Insights view crunches the data without forcing you into a spreadsheet. At the top you see spend this month across all active plans. Keep scrolling and the app splits costs by category - entertainment, productivity, cloud storage - then does the same by payment method. If your Visa is doing all the heavy lifting while PayPal barely wakes up, you can spot it at a glance.

Adding a new plan is refreshingly quick. Tap the blue plus, type the service name, set a price and choose a category. Pick the card that will fund it, flip on the trial switch if there is one, and set a reminder 1, 3 or 7 days before renewal. Hit Save and you are done in under ten seconds. The same smooth flow applies to creating extra cards or categories later in Settings, and yes, dark mode is one toggle away.

SubSync also guards against failed payments. If the credit card linked to a plan is about to expire, you get a polite nudge so there is time to update details before Netflix or Adobe grumbles. All reminders live inside a tidy Notifications panel where you can pause any of them with a single tap.

After a week of use you stop guessing where your money goes. Trials end on time, forgotten bundles resurface, and you finally feel in charge of those sneaky recurring charges. SubSync is not a budget app trying to micromanage your life - it is a flashlight that shows the leaks so you can plug them and keep the cash for things you actually enjoy.
